Functions

We have available for anyone to book and use our 2 very well appointed function rooms. On the ground floor with its own terrace seating area and its own entrance is our large function room. This room can accommodate up to 70 people for buffet style service for weddings, wakes, parties or christenings. We are able to provide tailored menus to suit any budget and change the layout and décor to suit specific needs. We are also happy to arrange and provide a quality disco or other entertainment for this room. Our upstairs guest sitting room is an ideal venue for smaller or more intimate events. It is a large room across the front of the building with plenty of natural light and situated on the first floor and is known as the quiet carriage/ dining carriage and is specifically reserved for our guests or meetings.

The style of the room is of a country hotel lounge with books and maps around the room and a retro styling with a comfortable seating area and tables. The snooker table can also be utilised as a presentation table.The windows all have heavy wooden shutters which can be closed over to remove light if required. The quiet carriage has its own entrance from the terrace making it very separate and private.There is ample parking available in the Station car park 50 yards up the road , free and unrestricted parking time. A substantial breakfast please make use of the cafe downstairs from 9am. every day to around 5 pm. The lights for the quiet carriage are just inside the door. Please turn them off when you are finished in there.
